Velocity Systems VS17 Signal Panel Marker

Leave it to Velocity Systems to improve on a cult classic. A VS17 Panel is used to identify friendly forces personnel and equipment from either the air or ground to ground. The panel can be attached to vehicles, rucksacks, hand-held or laid-out on the ground to provide visual identification.

The Velocity Systems VS17 Panel is high-visibility fluorescent orange on one side and high-visibility cerise on the other. The panel comes in large, medium and small sizes. The large and small sizes come equipped with tie down loops, while the medium comes with tactical toggle fasteners for use as a pack cover.

The large size has 8 tie down loops for attachment and is approximately 70”x 20”. The medium size has 6 toggle fasteners that can insert into loop attachment points on the Velocity Systems Pack Cover or other MOLLE packs, and is approximately 31”x 10”. The small size has 4 tie down loops for attachment and is approximately 24”x 24”. 

For references, the standard issue VS-17 Signal Panel Marker with NSN 8345-00-174 6865 is 72" x 20". This is roughly equivalent to the large size of the Velocity Systems VS17 panel.
